The II-Fix is a complete autonomous drying and heat fixation unit that can be coupled in-line to each digital printer without the need for a mechanical or electrical interface.
Textile printing and drying/heat fixation are automatically synchronised in a one step process. The II-Fix unit is developed for the fixation of disperse direct and disperse transfer/sublimation dyes, curing of pigment prints as well as a universal contact dryer in various applications.
The II-Fix is equipped with electrically heated, thick walled aluminium drums, guaranteeing an even temperature in the full width of the drum and quick heat transfer to the textile.
Due to the pressure-free heat fixation, the textile structure will be maintained while the paper free workflow of the II-Fix saves on consumables costs. Placing the II-Fix behind the printer, will not affect the printing process with heat generation and evaporated solvents.
The maintenance-free chains drive the drums. A fabric bar can be attached to the chain which greatly simplifies the feed-in handling of cloth into the II-Fix. The II-Fix is delivered complete with its own embedded control-unit. The drying/fixation chamber is equipped with an integrated exhaust to remove hazardous solvents and moisture, which evaporate easily at high fixation temperatures from the ink, thereby keeping the working environment and printer clean.
With temperatures between 50 and 220øC and dwell times from 15 seconds up to several minutes, the II-Fix is suitable for a wide range of drying, curing and fixation applications.
The II-Fix series is available in standard widths of 1.85, 2.5 and 3.4 metre, as well as an extra wide version up to 5 m cloth width. The construction is made of 304 stainless steel wth coated aluminium drums.
