Unique Hybrid Functionality
Designed to produce a wide range of materials and applications with one printer, the Tx330-1800 is a hybrid textile inkjet printer that can print on both fabric and paper with interchangeable print platens. Capable of fulfilling diverse applications, from fashion textiles to interior fabrics and wallpaper, this printer is an ideal entry-level all-round solution for sampling, short-runs and on-demand printing.
The Tx330 Series employs eco-friendly “waterless” technology, eliminating the need for pre-treatment, steaming, and washing, and drastically reducing water usage and environmental impact. The advanced Mimaki inks used in this series guarantee durable, vivid colours, while innovations such as nozzle recovery and easy maintenance boost productivity.
Switch the Platen
When printing direct to textile, the excess ink penetrated through the fabric is drained by a platen with an ink-receiving channel. When printing on heat transfer paper however, this platen can be exchanged by a vacuum platen needed for paper printing.
Adjustable Head Gap
Mimaki direct-to-textile printers can change the distance from the print head to the substrate; this so-called high head gap prevents the print head from touching the substrate. The maximum head gap can be as high as 7mm, preserving accurate dot placement.
